My Story

little-smiles was founded in 2008 by a full time mother of two children.

Looking for a business idea that fitted around looking after my children, I discovered beautiful and traditionally made teepees by Dobbin and Drum Toys on a recent trip to Australia. I had been looking for a teepee for my little boy’s first birthday but found the choice of stylish and practical designs in the UK very limited.




Dobbin and Drum Toys make fabulous toys and have ethics which I admire and value when they make their toys. In a world of mass production and cheap copies, finding products for children to treasure and love, made by people who feel the same about the toys they make, is unfortunately a rare thing.
