My Story

little-smiles was founded in 2008 by a full time mother of three children.






"I was looking for a teepee for my son's 1st birthday but had no success finding a stylish and sturdy wigwam in the UK.  On holiday in Australia, I discovered beautiful and traditionally made teepees by Dobbin and Drum Toys and bought one.  It was an immediate success.  My little boy crawled in and out of his teepee and his big sister played and read books - she even camped in it over night.  Being impressed by such a great product led me to set up little-smiles to share these fabulous teepees with parents in the UK.  Three years later my children still love their teepee and I love the feedback I have received from many parents, grandparents, godparents, friends and relatives who have bought a teepee from little-smiles.

Dobbin and Drum Toys make fabulous toys and have ethics which I admire and value when they make their toys. In a world of mass production and cheap copies, finding products for children to treasure and love, made by people who feel the same about the toys they make, is unfortunately a rare thing - that's why these toys are so special."
